Rick Jacques
Chairman & CEO

With more than 30 years of leadership experience in the healthcare industry, Rick has a proven ability to build and grow successful healthcare organizations. Rick founded and served as the President and Chief Executive Officer for Covenant Surgical Partners prior to joining MetaPhy Health. He served as Principal and President of Surgical Health Group and also served as Vice President of Business Development at AmSurg.
Reed B. Hogan, M.D.
Chief Medical Officer

Dr. Hogan is a lead gastroenterologist at GI Associates and Endoscopy Center in Jackson, MS, which is one of the largest gastroenterology groups in the southeast. He was elected by his peers for inclusion in Best Doctors in America and has been listed in Beckers’ “The 125 Gastroenterologists to Know.” Dr. Hogan is Chairman of the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (ASGE) special interest group for Ambulatory Endoscopy Centers and has special interests in ancillary service lines to enrich patient care and efficiency. In addition, he regularly serves as a resource for practice management educational courses in the GI industry.
Lisa Harris

Lisa has over 10 years of experience in the healthcare industry, including operations, investor relations, marketing, and communications. Prior to MetaPhy Health, Lisa served as Director of Investor Relations for TriStar Health Partners, a venture capital fund focused on creating and investing in early-stage healthcare opportunities. Lisa received her Bachelor’s degrees from The University of Georgia.
Chris Oubre

Chris has more than 26 years of experience in healthcare management, operations and information services with a focus on building, implementing, integrating and supporting clinical and financial systems and processes, as well as building the high functioning teams needed to support the platform. Prior to MetaPhy Health, Chris served as the first Chief Information Officer for Covenant Surgical Partners before moving into the role of Chief Operating Officer. Chris began his healthcare career with Renal Care Group and then worked in various roles at Renal Advantage, including Director of Information Services, Regional Director of Operations and HIPAA Security Officer.
Todd Shafer

Todd Shafer is an accomplished healthcare Operations and IT professional with more than 20 years of experience driving innovation for leading hospitals, physician services, dialysis, and laboratory companies. Most recently, Todd built mobile applications and processes for HCA Healthcare with a focus on providing new tools and workflow to their 97,000 nurses. Prior to HCA Healthcare, he held an IT leadership role with Covenant Surgical Partners, as Vice President of Information Services. Todd has held roles in other prominent healthcare companies such as Renal Advantage Inc. and DaVita.

Amy has more than 10 years of healthcare experience, specifically within healthcare IT. Prior to MetaPhy Health, Amy spent seven years as Director of Clinical Applications for Covenant Surgical Partners where she provided leadership, clinical expertise, and support to the planning, coordination, and implementation of clinical and financial applications.
Bridget Stahl

Bridget has several years of leadership experience working in the patient experience field. She is passionate about ensuring that quality and patient-centered care is delivered across the healthcare continuum. Bridget has successfully championed numerous patient experience initiatives, which have improved quality of care and patient satisfaction. Bridget is a Licensed Practical Nurse and received her Bachelor's Degree from the University of Massachusetts.

Prior to joining MetaPhy Health, Erin worked in the Education industry for five years in teaching and program development. Through both her graduate and professional work, she has also worked on international and local community development projects across several industries in the interest of positive social change. In Erin’s spare time, she enjoys trying out new recipes, exercising, and spending quality time with her friends and family. Erin has a M.Ed. from Vanderbilt University with a focus in Leadership and Organizational Performance and a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Georgia.

Barrett has experience in business development, the weight loss industry, and a variety of other sales-related roles. Prior to joining MetaPhy, Barrett was the Vice President and Director of Business Development at MinusCal where he provided leadership and creative solutions for product development, sales and marketing, and strategic partnerships.

Sam has experience in start-ups, product management, marketing, and sales operations. Prior to joining MetaPhy, Sam held a variety of roles at YouScience, an education technology start-up, including his most recent position as Product Manager in Analytics. He also co-founded Refined Process, a product development company focused on delivering scalable, custom software solutions for leading edge companies in healthcare, education, and technology. Sam has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Mississippi.

Simon C. Robson, MB, ChB, FRCP, FAASLD, PhD
Dr. Robson is a Professor of Anesthesia and Professor of Medicine (Gastroenterology and Hepatology) at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Robson served as Chief Gastroenterology at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC) to the end of 2015. He then joined the Department of Anesthesia, Critical Care and Pain Medicine at BIDMC, where he is currently Director of the newly established Center for Inflammation Research and overall Vice-Chair Research.
Anthony J. Lembo, MD
Dr. Lembo is a Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School and joined Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in 1997 where he currently serves as the Director of the GI Motility and Functional Bowel Disorder Center at BIDMC.
Yousif A-Rahim, MD, PhD
Dr. A-Rahim serves as the Chief Medical Officer of Covenant Physician Partners. He is also an interventional gastroenterologist and a Lecturer in Medicine at Harvard Medical School.

Ron E. Pruitt, MD
Dr. Pruitt is a community-based Gastroenterologist/Hepatologist with academic appointments at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine and the University of TN School of Medicine. He is a partner with Advanced Health Partners, a rollup of over 600 providers, and serves on the executive committee of its largest division, Saint Thomas Medical Group. Dr. Pruitt was Chief of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at Saint Thomas West Hospital from 1995-2018 and served as 2 term Governor of TN for the American College of Gastroenterology.
Gerald Bertiger, MD
Dr. Bertiger recently retired as managing partner of a gastroenterology group in the Philadelphia metropolitan area. During his tenure as managing partner, he vertically expanded the group to include the first certified ambulatory surgery center in Pennsylvania, a histology laboratory with pathology services, an in-house anesthesia group, and a clinical research unit. He also continues to consult for pharmaceutical companies and device manufacturers. During his full-time practice, he was chief of gastroenterology and head of the endoscopy unit at Chestnut Hill Hospital.
